Another Try for Catholicism :-)

I found another on-line quiz, this one strictly for Christian denominations. I took it, and this time I came out much more Catholic! 🙂

My list from there is:
1) Eastern Orthodox
2) Roman Catholic
3) Evangelical Lutheran
4) Episcopal/Anglican
5) Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
6) Methodist/Wesleyan Church
7) Seventh-Day Adventist
8) Mormonism
9) Unitarian Universalism
10) Unity Church

Blessings & Peace,
Hugo (who’s still trying to convince everyone that he really is Roman Catholic!) 🙂

  1. Bible Sponge: The first five results that I got I agree with – they’re all Catholic or Catholic lite. 🙂

The last few are on what some would call the fringes of Christianity . . . but they call themselves Christian – and at least 50% of what they do comes out of Scripture (though we could probably say that for many denominations!) the appleation stands.

Not judging is a hobby of mine 🙂

    Blessings & Peace,

  2. Hugo…..alot of those religions listed are not even Christian sadly to say. Mormonism is not Christian at all along with some others. 🙁 Thats a big deception that I found out.
But atleast your Christian or catholic.
    (same thing) pretty much.
    God Bless

  3. I wasn’t too surprised….
    I am
    1. Southern Baptist… as I predicted…
    2. Assembly of God. My second guess.

My Catholic was way down around 9 or 10…

I will try harder next time.

  4. KC: Thanks for the vote of confidence . . . one day soom I’ll be a real Catholic! 🙂

And I really hope no one ever uses any of those on line quizzes . . . I can just imagine the conversation with their pastor/priest: “Well, I took this quiz online, and now I know that I should really be (INSERT RELIGION / DENOMINATION HERE). See you later!”

    Blessings & Peace,

  5. Oh and congrats on getting closer to your goal! Soon you’ll be able to remove the “token” tag. ‘-)

  6. #1: Southern Baptist
    #2: Assemblies of God
    #3: Free Will Baptist
    #4: Reformed Baptist
    #5: Mennonite Brethren
    #6: Seventh-Day Adventist
    #7: Church of Christ
    #8: Methodist/Wesleyan Church
#9: Presbyterian Church in America/Orthodox Presbyterian Church
    #10: Reformed Churches

It seems these questions were more definitive than the rest yet there’s still no “elbow room”. You have to “pigeon-hole” yourself or abandon any hope of ever knowing what religion to belong to! (Just kidding) I wonder if anyone has ever really used these test results for guidance? It seems most everyone is surprised when they’re not where they’re supposed to be according to the test results.
