{"id":597,"date":"2006-06-02T12:58:00","date_gmt":"2006-06-02T17:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hugodlr.com\/?p=597"},"modified":"2006-06-02T12:58:00","modified_gmt":"2006-06-02T17:58:00","slug":"my-creed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hugodlr.com\/?p=597","title":{"rendered":"My Creed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"left\">This is a creed I composed for the class I&#8217;m teaching on Doctrine &#8211; it&#8217;s modeled on the Nicene-Constantinople creed recited at every Catholic Mass (and many non-Catholic Christian churches). The students are given time, at the end of my course, to reflect on what they&#8217;ve learned and what they believe. They write down their creed, and then we pray them together to finish up the class.
