{"id":599,"date":"2006-05-27T17:36:00","date_gmt":"2006-05-27T22:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hugodlr.com\/?p=599"},"modified":"2006-05-27T17:36:00","modified_gmt":"2006-05-27T22:36:00","slug":"schools-out-for-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hugodlr.com\/?p=599","title":{"rendered":"School&#8217;s Out for Summer!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Today was the last day of school for staff at OLSS (students finished on Friday). I&#8217;m still working the next three weeks, but it&#8217;s administrative stuff (paperwork and moving to a new office) next week, and Diocesan Religion Teacher Certification Courses the next two weeks (I&#8217;m teaching on the Creed one week, Social Justice and Church History the next).<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color:#000000;\">On my agenda for the summer:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">playing with my son (he puts up with a lot of down time having two teachers for parents!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">painting (the dining room, maybe the library or the kitchen as well)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">yard work (I&#8217;ve let my yard go &#8211; this is the summer I take it back!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">exercise (I lost the habit of daily morning exercise &#8211; I hoping a summer of doing it every morning will make it a life-long habit)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">prayer (I feel like I need to reconnect &#8211; will make it a point to do it daily in the morning as well)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">reading (lots of books to catch up on\/finish\/start!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">playing with my wife (just use your imagination!) \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I will also have time to blog once again &#8211; I think my first blog (tomorrow or later on tonight) will be Da Vinci code stuff &#8211; I did a presentation to the staff two weeks ago &#8211; I&#8217;ll post some of my thoughts here, too!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Blessings &amp; Peace,<br \/>Hugo<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today was the last day of school for staff at OLSS (students finished on Friday).
